Day 46 - Short Timer?

Okay, a quick update...

We saw Ryan today but I forgot the cameras at home so I don't have any new pics. While we were there we talked to one of her doctors and during our discussion she made the comment that Ryan should be ready to come home in TWO to THREE WEEKS! That's before Thanksgiving people! She is doing really well. Her one hang up is that she's still having some reflux that needs to get under control before she comes home. So, if you remember to, please pray that she'll get over that and will be able to keep her food down the way she is supposed to.

Oh, and as promised, I checked on her length and she is now 16 1/2 inches and still floating around 4 lbs. 6 oz.

That is so EXCITING!!! We're so happy for you and that she is doing so well. Heather made a healthy little baby! We hope your entire family can be together for Thanksgiving.

Brian, I remember on one of the first videos you posted you were talking to Ryan about how good Thanksgiving turkey was. I guess that gave her the motivation she needed=) Such fantastic news!

You may or may not make the connection so I'll just tell everyone up front -- I'm Brian's dad.

One of my pet peaves is this phrase: "I just want you all to know how much..." and then we never finish doing what we say we're going to do. In my case I am going to finish the statement so I ask your indulgence.

The past eight weeks or so have been an incredible roller coaster of events in our family. The highest of highs and the lowest of lows.

I want all of you to know of my sincere love and appreciation for all of your support during some extraordinary trying times in Heather's and Brian's lives.

Thank you for joining us in family fasts and prayers. Thank you for your frienship, your support, your love, your caring through this difficult time. Thank you for all of the help you have given and the expressions of love and concern.

Through your faith, prayers and compassion Heather has been brought through this terrible storm and is now nearing safe harbor once again.

Words cannot express how much we - Brian's mom and I - appreciate all you have done and all the support you have given during this time. Just know that we love all of the many people who have shown their love and demonstrated their faith. Thank you all, those known and those not known, for your strength, your courage, and your prayers when they were sorely needed.
